We are proud to announce that Montserrat student Tiago Serpa has been selected for the Mass Reality Check showcase at @_salemfilmfest!

His film, EMOTIONAL LANDSCAPE, is a documentary short featuring Montserrat alumna Morgan Dyer (’13). The film explores Morgan’s unique perspective on the Rockport landscape, weaving together the physicality of nature with her personal history and inner world.

Mass Reality Check highlights the best documentary and experimental work from college filmmakers across Massachusetts. Tiago will be competing for the "Mass Reality Check Best Short" award, which includes professional mentorship from the festival’s programming staff!

The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Tiago and the other featured filmmakers.
