Loop Learning
Given Montserrat’s commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to the continued career development of its alumni, the college has opened its classroom doors to all alumni to foster their ongoing learning.
Alumni of any age who attained a BFA degree from Montserrat College of Art may enroll in up to five total Montserrat courses over their lifetime, post-graduation, at no tuition cost. Additional parameters apply. For more information on Loop Learning, contact [email protected]
Gallery:
The galleries offer two regular opportunities to alumni for consideration: a solo exhibition in the Carol Schlosberg Alumni Gallery or Founders Gallery and participation in occasional group exhibitions or juried alumni exhibitions.
SOLO EXHIBITIONS
To be considered for a solo exhibition in the Carol Schlosberg Alumni Gallery or Founders Gallery, you must be active in your local art community, have created a high-caliber body of work separate from the work you created at Montserrat, be willing to give a gallery talk, and have graduated five or more years ago. The Gallery reviews submissions on an ongoing basis; there is no submission deadline.
To submit your artwork for review, please send an email with a current artist resume, artist statement and a link to your website with images of current work to:
ALUMNI EXHIBITIONS
To be included in occasional juried alumni exhibitions, please submit your work to the “alumni call for work” when they come out and follow the instructions as outlined in the call.
